Helmfolio ("the Software") is an informational and analytical tool provided by Max Shing ("we", "us", or the "Licensor"). It is intended solely to help you review, visualize, and reflect on your own historical trading and account data.

1. No financial, investment, or tax advice

The Software does not provide, and must not be relied upon as, financial, investment, trading, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Nothing presented in the Software — including metrics, charts, benchmarks, projections, risk statistics, or any other output — constitutes a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or other financial instrument.

2. Not a fiduciary or adviser

We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, or fiduciary, and we are not acting in any such capacity by providing the Software. The Software is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Interactive Brokers ("IBKR") or any other broker, exchange, or data provider. "IBKR" and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

3. Informational purposes only

All figures are derived from data you import or sync (for example, IBKR Flex statements and CSV files). Calculations are estimates that may contain errors, rely on assumptions, or differ from your broker's official records. Benchmark and market reference data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always verify figures against your broker's official statements before relying on them.

4. Static, non-real-time data

The Software is a performance-review and statistics tool, not a real-time trading, quoting, or order-execution platform. All prices, positions, profit/loss, and market reference figures reflect the data as of your most recent import or sync and are static snapshots — they are not live, streaming, or continuously updated, and may be delayed or out of date by the time you view them. Do not use the Software for live trading decisions, order execution, or time-sensitive monitoring; always rely on your broker's live platform and official records for current information.

5. Designed for US-market trading

The Software is fully optimized for US stocks, ETFs, and USD-denominated assets. While it can import or sync any IBKR account, multi-currency reporting and local tracking rules for non-US markets (for example European, Japanese, or Korean exchanges) are currently not supported, which affects profit/loss (PnL) accuracy for those assets. Do not rely on the Software for analysis of non-US-market or multi-currency trading.

6. Your decisions are your own

Investing and trading involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and for consulting a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial decision.

7. No warranty / limitation of liability

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Max Shing disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Software or its output.
